Email

We use your email for a receipt and a sign-in link. Stripe sends the receipt, and Mailgun sends the sign-in link.

Search

When you search, we send the role and filters to our servers so we can return listings. We do not save those search words on your account, in the first-visit cookie, or in the product events we keep, unless you save the search as a job alert.

Job alerts and emails

When you save a search as a job alert, we keep that search on your account so we can find new jobs that match it. New matches go to the mailbox on your account page, and by email if you choose. You can change how often an alert emails you, turn its email off, or delete it on your account page.

We may also email you news about CareerBeyond. Every email has a link to stop that kind of email, and stopping it does not affect your plan.

Mailgun sends these emails. If an email to your address bounces for good, or you mark one as spam, Mailgun tells us and we stop emailing that address.

Payment

Stripe processes the card payment. CareerBeyond does not store your card number.

Cookies

A sign-in cookie keeps you signed in for 30 days. Page scripts cannot read it.

A visitor cookie stores a random id for this browser for 90 days.

A separate cookie stores where you first arrived from: the referring site, the first page path, and campaign tags on the link. It does not store the words you searched. It lasts 90 days.

Product events

We record our own events for search results, subscribe, and cancel. Those events can include the plan you chose, a listing id, and a result count. They do not include the words you searched.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics counts which pages are opened. Google sets its own cookie in this browser for up to two years and receives the page path, the referring site, and general device details. The page address we send leaves off the query string, so it does not include the words you searched, your email, or a sign-in link.

Cancellation

If you tell us why you canceled, we store that note with your account. The note is optional.
