About Pocket
At Pocket, we’re building the future of human memory.
Some of the most valuable information in our lives disappears when a conversation ends: an idea, a decision, a detail we wish we could remember. Pocket helps us hold onto it.
We’ve built an AI-powered device that captures real-world conversations and turns them into searchable transcripts, summaries and next steps. Backed by Accel and Y Combinator (W26), we’ve already sold 500,000 devices.
Our ambition goes beyond recording. We believe the things you learn, discuss and experience can become useful context for the AI tools you already use, and for products that don’t exist yet.
About the Role
How many units will we sell? When should we order more? Where should that inventory sit?
You’ll turn those questions into a working forecast and fulfillment plan. Pocket sells across DTC, Amazon, retail and international markets. You’ll work with imperfect data, spot risks early and coordinate with warehouses and fulfillment partners so customers can get the product without the business carrying unnecessary stock.
What You’ll Own
Daily demand monitoring and the weekly forecast across channels, SKUs and colorways.
Reorder points, safety stock, days of coverage and purchase-order recommendations.
Early identification of stockout and overstock risks, with practical mitigation plans.
Amazon FBA planning and day-to-day coordination with 3PL and fulfillment partners.
Inventory placement across warehouses, balancing availability, delivery speed and cost.
Reconciliation of inventory and fulfillment data across systems, so decisions rest on numbers people can trust.
What We’re Looking For
One to three years in supply chain, demand planning, inventory or fulfillment for a physical product.
Experience building and maintaining a real forecast, including understanding where it was wrong.
Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills and comfort combining messy data from different systems.
A sound understanding of lead times, safety stock, reorder points and minimum order quantities.
Attention to detail, ownership of accuracy and the initiative to chase missing answers without a detailed set of instructions.
Bonus Points
Amazon FBA, 3PLs, WMS or ERP systems, SQL, or experience in a growing ecommerce business.
What Success Looks Like
The team has a useful view of demand and inventory risk. Forecast accuracy, in-stock rate, inventory turns, days of coverage and fulfillment cost guide decisions rather than sit in a report no one uses.
Why Join Pocket?
Your analysis will affect whether a customer can buy the product and how quickly it reaches them. You’ll work on a lean team with access to founders and senior colleagues, and room to develop broader supply-chain ownership as you grow.
