Mental Health Biller – Billing & Insurance Eligibility Specialist
Las Vegas, Nevada | On-site | Part-time | $19–$24 per hour
Evening hours and Saturday availability required

Beyond Expectation Psychological Services is recruiting an experienced biller for accurate claims, insurance verification, and payment follow-up. Experience with therapy and psychological testing billing is particularly relevant.

Responsibilities
• Submit accurate, timely claims; verify benefits, eligibility, provider paneling, referrals, and authorizations.
• Follow up on unpaid, denied, and underpaid claims; prepare supported corrections, reconsiderations, and appeals.
• Reconcile EOB/ERA payments, post payments, and document accounts-receivable follow-up.
• Prepare patient statements, invoices, and financial-responsibility information.
• Support secondary-insurance billing; maintain payer IDs, rates, and billing records.
• Prepare productivity, aging, and collection reports.
• Protect confidentiality and follow payer requirements and office procedures.

Required qualifications
• At least two years of medical billing experience; mental health billing preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance portals, eligibility verification, provider paneling, and claims management.
• Accuracy, analytical problem-solving, organization, and independent follow-through.
• Reliable work history and clear communication.

Preferred experience
• SimplePractice, Availity, Microsoft Excel, and electronic health records.
• CPT/ICD-10 coding relevant to mental health and psychological testing.
• Commercial insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, TRICARE, secondary billing, and payer appeals.

Part-time on-site schedule includes evenings and Saturdays. Posted pay is $19–$24 per hour.
