Position Description:

At Voyager Technologies, The Senior Technical Product Manager will own the strategy and lifecycle of an embedded computing portfolio- from identifying customer needs and market opportunities through product definition, development, launch, production, and sustainment. You will connect customers, engineering, programs, operations, and business development to turn complex missions into differentiated products that are technically strong, commercially compelling, and ready for the real world.

This is a high-impact role for a product leader reporting to the VP who understands embedded computing, makes smart technical and business tradeoffs, and wants to help shape products that protect lives, expand frontiers, and strengthen national security.

  • Set the vision, strategy, positioning, and roadmap for Voyager’s embedded computing portfolio, including processing, control, and data storage products.
  • Own products across the full lifecycle -from market opportunity and concept through development, launch, production, upgrades, sustainment, and retirement.
  • Translate customer missions, market trends, and program feedback into clear product priorities, requirements, release plans, and investment recommendations.
  • Partner with Engineering to balance performance, cost, schedule, reliability, manufacturability, testability, and long-term supportability.
  • Lead customer discovery, market analysis, competitive analysis, pricing, business cases, and product performance tracking.
  • Support proposals and business development with differentiated, technically credible, and cost-effective product strategies.
  • Build alignment across Engineering, Programs, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, Proposals, and executive leadership.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop product and technical talent while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.

If your experience aligns with our basic qualifications and you are inspired by our mission, we’d like to connect. If you don’t see the right role right now, Join Our Talent Community and stay connected as we continue to build what’s next.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years working with embedded computing products through product management, product strategy, systems engineering, technical program leadership, or product development.
  • 3+ years owning or influencing product strategy, roadmaps, product development, or lifecycle decisions.
  • Experience taking complex hardware or embedded products from concept through development, launch, production, customer delivery, and sustainment.
  • Working knowledge of embedded processors and products such as ARM, PowerPC, FPGA, single-board computers, personality modules, video processors, storage devices, or power supplies.
  • Experience with customer discovery, market and competitive analysis, pricing, business cases, and product metrics.
  • Ability to guide technical tradeoffs and communicate clearly with customers, engineers, executives, and cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, systems engineering, computer science, science, business, or a related field.
