Who are we looking for?

As an Account Manager, you'll join our operations team in our Long Island office and support a portfolio of customers day to day. You will:

Track containers and shipments, and keep customers updated

Price and quote shipments

Dispatch drivers and carriers

Solve problems as they come up, and escalate when needed

Build steady, long-term relationships with customers

Transportation moves quickly and plans change often. You'll do well here if you stay calm, stay organized, and follow things through to the end.

  What you bring:Experience in logistics, trucking or transportation

Strong attention to detail. You catch errors before they become problems

Good judgment and problem-solving skills

Clear, professional communication by phone and email

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office

A positive, easygoing personality and a team-first attitude

Reliability. You show up, follow through, and take ownership of your accounts

Bonus points if you have:

Container drayage or port experience

Experience with a transportation management system (TMS)

 

What we offer:

Pay: $55,000 per year base salary, negotiable based on experience

Location: onsite in our Rockville Centre, Long Island, NY office, starting from day one

Hours: full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
